Breast Implants

The plastic surgeon is able to decide from the preoperative the options of the implant in terms of size, shape and site (submuscular or subglandular) that most suits the patient. Implants can be placed through an incision in the lower border of the areola, from an incision located in the axilla or by the inframammary groove.

No matter what the choice, the remaining scar does not exceed four centimeters. There are two sites to locate the silicone implant, the first one below the breast tissue and the second one above it, leaving it covered by mammary glandular tissue.

Breast augmentation surgery is done under general anesthesia in most cases, lasts less than two hours, allowing you to return to your work activities on the third day following the recommendations given by the doctor.
